VSA PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SERIES: Moulage in Clinical Simulation

Postponed until March 2022

This interactive three-hour workshop will introduce participants to the concepts of fidelity and realism and the rationale for moulage. Participants will demonstrate some simple moulage techniques and discuss tips and tricks for moulage. The facilitator will also be able to introduce commonly used medical terms, which may be unfamiliar to non-clinical staff.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

• Discuss the list of medical terms provided, and match them to definitions
• Discuss concepts of fidelity and the rationale for applying moulage
• Demonstrate techniques for applying moulage

Places are limited to 20 participants per session.
